Failure

Failure is an option. Everyone starts somewhere and inevitably will fail along the way. At MakeItLabs we encourage members to document their failures here so that others can learn from them.

We also need members to own their failures, not to embarrass them, or otherwise shame them, but to encourage a community where we learn from one another and also keep our equipment in working condition for other members to use.

For example this damage to a drill bit might have been done by not using any cooling fluid, drilling at too high a speed, drilling in too hard a metal or some combination of the three.
